There needs to be some training in customer service relations for whomever replies to the Grapevine posts.. “Perhaps you would better appreciate a human response” might be laughable in person, but the ‘humor’ comes off as snark, and dismissive, when written. How about some professionalism?

A. It wasn’t meant to be laughable. It was a serious response. It probably would have been better written if it said “Perhaps you would better appreciate talking with a person.”
