2020-2021 School Year Emergency Closures or Delay Options
School schedules were drastically modified for 2020-21 due to the constraints of COVID-19. Consequently, decisions regarding operations under emergency school delays and/or closure will be a little different this year.

Options for school delays and/or closure due to a snow emergency will be deliberated and decided by the Superintendent in collaboration with the Director of Transportation and Director of Facilities and Operations. The objective is to have a final decision made by 5:00AM.

Delay Schedule
Schools will adhere to a 1-hour or 2-hour delay based on the following Transportation Schedule. Food Service will keep the same schedule for a 1hour and 2hour delay and continue to serve breakfast and lunch. No AM/PM Kindergarten, No AM BOCES, No Period 0. Parents using Y-Time for childcare should discuss their procedures in the event of a delay.
Options for School Closing
School closings will follow the typical process. Parents using Y-Time for childcare should discuss their procedures in the event of a cancellation of after-school/evening activities.
