Dear Grade 7 Student,

Technology courses at the high school prepare students for college programs and careers in Engineering, Technical Trades, and Computer Science.  These electives are engaging and aligned to 21st century workforce skills requirements.  The first step in the Engineering Progression is Digital Design for Engineering (DDE).  This course is offered to 9th graders and qualifies as both a technology elective and art elective.  The course is a Project Lead the Way course and students may qualify for Rochester Institute of Technology college credit.

Two sections of DDE will be offered during period 0 in the middle schools next year to Grade 8 Students that are interested and meet the qualification criteria.

If you are interested in learning more, please join us at an informational meeting on Wednesday March 27, 2019 at 8:00 AM in the Gowana Middle School Auditorium.  Please bring your parent or Guardian.
