Arongen Student Council representatives created works of art inspired by Romero Britto. Their canvas paintings exhibit bright colors, shapes, patterns, and positivity. These fourth and fifth graders wanted to give back to their community and brainstormed ideas with their Student Council advisors, Bill McCarthy and Laura Jacon. Collaborating with art teacher Crystal Preston, these children are bringing joy to residents of the Schuyler Ridge Nursing Home in Clifton Park with their dedication and creativity. Even during a pandemic, these student council members are finding ways to connect with their community through posters, cards, donations, and artwork. Spreading the sunshine and love to their community is very important to them.
