As a teacher, if I wrote a book like the Superintendent, that book would become the intellectual property of the District. As someone who makes $160,000 less than the Superintendent, I am wondering if the book proceeds go to the District? Thank you.

A. That’s not true.  We are privileged to have several teachers on staff who have authored books and we support such intellectual pursuits. Dr. Robinson’s book is based on a compilation of more than 22 years of experience in educational leadership, serving in three different school districts and teaching at three different universities/colleges. The superintendent has the right to share his experience via whatever medium deemed appropriate, in this case the book.
