ANTICIPATED VACANCY

POSITION: Automotive Repairer, 8 hrs/day, 12 mos/yr, 2nd Shift (2:00pm – 10:00pm) – TWO POSITIONS

RESPONSIBILITIES:  Should possess thorough knowledge of standard/diesel automotive repair methods, tools and terminology; ability to make repairs to  heavy automotive and mechanical equipment;  ability to perform NYSDOT mandated PM inspections on school buses; Possession of or ability to obtain a CDL-B license with a P and S endorsement and be able to pass DOT physical. Must have tools necessary to perform repairs on diesel and gasoline powered engines. Candidates should have good motor and hand/eye coordination and be in good physical condition.

BENEFITS & SALARY: Professional working environment, supportive parents and community, salary pending settlement of the Shenendehowa CSEA collective bargaining agreement, STEP 1 ($22.69/hr) – STEP 5 ($26.53/hr)
