ANTICIPATED VACANCY

 

POSITION: Computer Lab Aide, 8 HOURS/DAY, 10 MONTHS/YEAR 

RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide daily technical computer/Chromebook support to all students; Provide Chromebook training to new students; Inventory new equipment and maintain computer workstation, Chromebook and peripheral equipment; Annual collection and distribution of Chromebooks; Assist teachers to schedule classes and testing in the Computer Lab; Supervising of and working with students in the Lab; Order supplies for the Computer Lab and Chromebook Care Center; Assist students and staff in use of Google Apps for Education, including Google Drive and Google Classroom; Assist students with their Shen Accounts and Student Portal Accounts; Troubleshoot and coordinate with IMS regarding user, hardware, software and network issues. Maintain usage data regarding the use of labs and Chromebooks.

Preferred Experience: Strong computer skills and familiarity with Google Apps for Education, Microsoft Programs and Internet usage; working with students of varied ability levels in a fast paced environment.

BENEFITS & SALARY:  Professional working environment, supportive parents and community, salary per the Shenendehowa CSEA collective bargaining agreement, STEP 1 ($18.54/hr) – STEP 5 ($20.78/hr)
