Could you explain why bus drivers are allowing neck gaiters and face masks with vents to be worn on the school bus? I see students everyday on the bus port wearing them while unloading. They feel it is the teacher’s responsibility to correct students.

A. The drivers are there to drive the school bus. School administrators are there to enforce the face masks requirements. Bus drivers have been directed to pickup their students and bring them to school. If a bus driver see a student without a mask, the driver has extra and can offer one. The driver is not responsible for enforcing the type of face covering a student wears, it is beyond their scope of responsibility.
