COVID-19 Protocols for Summer Programs/Camps

Pursuant to NYSDOH Guidance, issued 7/7/2021 and in accordance with CDC  requirements, the following protocols have been updated: 

  1. Staff and students no longer have to self-certify. If for any reason you have any COVID-19 symptoms please stay home and contact your doctor. *It is important to continue to report your absence to your supervisor
  2. Unvaccinated children / campers and staff are strongly encouraged, but not required, to wear face coverings indoors as feasible.
  3. Children / campers and staff are not required to wear a face covering when utilizing the outdoor spaces.
  4. All students and staff riding the bus are still required to wear a face covering.

No one should be discouraged, ridiculed, or bullied for wearing a mask. 

A few reminders: 

  1. Get vaccinated, if eligible to do so.
  2. Take all necessary precautions to ensure your safety and the safety of others, including proper hygiene and social distancing.
