Back in February, the three Shenendehowa Middle Schools sent 24 students to compete in the regional Mathcounts competition at the GE Research Center in Niskayuna.  The team from Acadia finished 4th, with 7th grader Jaeho Lee placing 2nd overall as an individual and 8th grader Forrest Gao placing 3rd.

Both Jaeho and Forrest were invited to compete in the state competition held at RPI on March 9th.

Forrest Gao finished 2nd place in New York State and will now represent New York at the National Mathcounts Competition in Orlando, Florida in May.  All of those who participated did an outstanding job!
