POSITION:  Head Custodian, 8 Hours/Day, 12 Months/Year


General Duties:  Responsible for custodial and maintenance work of school facilities and equipment; Supervises performance of the staff on a particular shift to ensure that the building cleaning duties to both the interior and exterior of the facility are clean, safe and a healthy environment for students, staff and the community. Performs routine building, cleaning and occasional minor maintenance tasks; does related work as required. Must have thorough knowledge of building cleaning practices, supplies and equipment; ability to understand and carry out simple oral and written directions; ability to plan and supervise the work of others; willingness to perform custodial and other manual tasks; resourcefulness; dependability; good moral character; good physical condition. Other duties as required.


BENEFITS & SALARY:  Professional working environment, supportive parents and community, salary per the Shenendehowa SUSA collective bargaining agreement, ($54,400/yr – $62,351/yr)


LOCATION: Facilities & Operations, High School East
