Hi I am a student in the middle school and I find it annoying how some people just decide to skip school and go remote on days when they are in-person. It makes it more difficult for teachers to organize their lesson plan. In a previous class there were only 7 people in person and there were supposed to be 13. There was no quarantine issue in that class. Should there be a rule against this? We only go in for 2 days, is it that hard to go in-person? Thanks

A. Thanks for sharing your perspective.  Schools monitor student attendance.  During COVID there are many reasons students may opt to join the class virtually rather than attend in-person on scheduled days.
