High School East student Sara Casale personally created a program aimed at assisting middle school students who struggle with self esteem.  Her program is called “Taking The Lead in Your Own Life.” High School East students went to Gowana and worked with middle school aged students holding collaborative discussions, answering questions, as well as providing insight and encouragement.  She created and implemented this program as part of her goal for a Gold Award for the Girl Scouts.
