Is the district aware that not all elementary schools are implementing the new science curriculum? Entire kits are being returned unopened to BOCES. I know building principals will say this is untrue, but, it is not. I am a classroom teacher and I know first hand.

A. Thank you for sharing your concern.  Building principals continue to monitor use of materials and more importantly, support teachers as needed.  Further, in several schools, content area specialists are teaching science to several classes which in some cases reduces the need for a kits during this time.  Staff members with questions or concerns are encouraged to speak directly with colleagues and their principals.
