It seems that the SIS messaging system that Transportation is using is not transmitting in a timely manner. When the morning bus is late, sending a SIS at 12:45Pm is really useless. This is the second time this year that the bus has not shown up for my kids at the bus stop. I called transportation, but they can’t even tell with GPS locator’s on the bus, if and what time they actually passed the bus stop. Todays issue, the replacement bus did not even complete the route and never made it to the bus stop. This is all unacceptable when we send our kids on the bus, as is directed by the school district, and they are left standing outside for 40 minutes, and then they need to find a ride to school. There needs to more reliable and timely communication if something it slowing down the bus.
