I’ve been wondering what a 3+ grade means for elementary students. Is that equivalent to a B+, A-, or something else? Thanks!

A. As indicated on the report card, a 3 means that the student is meeting Shenendehowa’s grade level expectations.  A 3+ would indicate that the child is moving towards excelling in grade level expectations.  These levels do not necessarily align exactly to letter grades, but one could say that a 3 would be around a B+/A- and a 3+ would be around a A-/A.
