On Saturday, February 6, the Shenendehowa community stepped up in more ways than one. Continuing in our commitment to combat the spread of COVID-19, our dedicated nurses administered 524 Rapid tests. Of all students tested, only two results came back positive, a positivity rate of just 0.38%.

Kudos to the all those made the mass COVID-19 surveillance testing an enormous success, especially the nurses. A big thank you also to all parents and students who participated,” said Superintendent Dr. L. Oliver Robinson.

Earlier this week, 131 middle and high school staff members were tested, yielding zero positive results. Elementary staff are set for rapid testing next week.
