One of your drivers said, it is Shen policy that students should not wait for their bus, during inclimate weather, in the family car. Is this true?

A. There is no such policy as mentioned in your comments. What is required is for students to stand at their assigned bus stop where they are visible as the bus approach. Students need to dress appropriately for the weather. Students need to be visible to the bus driver for their own safety. We know from statistics that students have been seriously injured by their own bus because the driver didn’t see them at the bus stop, this is especially true for substitute drivers who may not be familiar with where students are and is expecting them to be at a certain location.
