POSITION: Senior Typist – Group D, 8 Hours/Day, 12 Months/Year 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:     As a Senior Typist, this individual is expected to perform at a high level those functions outlined for the position.  Examples of related tasks and functions include: The ability to multi-task in a very busy main office environment; The ability to positively interact with a variety of stakeholder groups including students, parents and staff; The ability to work collaboratively in a positive way with the current office staff; Strong communication skills; Strong background in Microsoft Office Suite, SIS System, Google and Wincap; Manage the school budget; Coordinate office tasks among clerical and non-clerical staff; Able to embrace change; Type and maintain various types of records; Operates computing, word processing, and other office equipment; Responsible for answering phone calls from various stakeholders, Additional duties as required. 

BENEFITS & SALARY:  Professional working environment, supportive parents and community, salary per Shenendehowa CSEA collective bargaining agreement, STEP 1 ($ 20.29/hr) – STEP 7 ($ 26.24/hr) 

LOCATION: Skano Elementary School, Principal’s Office
