Shatekon celebrated annual Heritage Week. This included a map display of where students and staff are from and several multi-cultural art projects including: African tribal necklaces, Brazilian Carnival masks and Mexican folk art. On Heritage Dress-Up Day, students (and staff) celebrated the countries they identify with by wearing clothing or accessories typical of that country.
