In December, about 70 Mathcounts Club members participated in a school competition to determine who would attend the Regional Mathcounts competition. The top 8 qualifiers from each middle school were invited to attend at the GE Research Center in Niskayuna on Saturday, February 4th. It was the first time the event had been held in person in 3 years. Coached by math teachers Jennifer Sprague and Stephanie Giesselmann and high school student volunteers Anthony Yang, Sicheng Yu and Aivin Le, the 24 students did a terrific job and made Shen proud!
