Skano fifth graders celebrated International Dot Day after reading “The Dot.” The activity is based on the words of Peter Reynolds…”Just make a mark and see where it takes you.”  Students worked in small groups to build objects out of candy dots.  Students used their imaginations to create Wayside School and a circus  carousel.  Students had a terrific conversation about growth mindset and the courage to begin something prior to building.
