Students in 8th grade honors math classes at Gowana learned about real world linear functions by finding the cost per topping for Domino’s pizza.  They were able to write linear functions to represent their findings for small, medium and large pizzas, compare different pizza places in the area and graph the results.  Thanks to the Domino’s on Route 9 in Clifton Park for donating the boxes used in this project.
