ANTICIPATED VACANCY

 

POSITION:

Program Coordinator
Summer ENL Program

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:

Strong working knowledge of ENL program, curriculum development, early literacy and primary math skills; experience in program coordination

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:                    

Program planning and set up; recruitment and organization of staff; communicating with staff and parents prior to and during the operation of the Program; organizing and overseeing writing of curriculum and assessments for the Program; making transportation arrangements; ordering supplies; preparing student and teacher schedules; preparing for and facilitating the opening faculty meeting; oversight for the daily academic program and communicating student progress to parents and home schools; coordinating with the Summer Literacy and K Jumpstart Program Coordinator; supervising day-to-day program operations; coordinating professional development for teachers, as needed; program evaluation

 

STIPEND:

$1,050 – Program Coordinator
(Coordinator will also be eligible to teach ENL Summer Program for stipend associated with teaching responsibilities)

 

APPLICATION DEADLINE:

May 29, 2020

 

EFFECTIVE:

Program planning, set-up and coordination begins in June, 2020
Program runs from July 20 – August 13, 2020
Students are in session 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., Monday – Thursday
Coordinator reports 8:15 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Staff report 8:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
