Skano celebrated Dot Day on Friday, September 15th. Peter H. Reynolds’ book, The Dot, teaches us to make our mark and make it matter. Community members and district staff visited Skano classrooms for Read Across America Day on 3/2.

 The students loved having guest readers come to the classrooms. It was a wonderful way to kick off our month to Read for Ronald McDonald House Charities. 

Skano second graders read original poems to their families at Mr. Johnson’s Blue Moon Cafe poetry night.

 

Skano PE teacher and boys JV volleyball coach, Chad Hagner, joined the Varsity Volleyball team as they were honored at the State Capital for winning the State Championship.
