The National Sleep Foundation recommends that teens aged 13-17 get a minimum of 7.5-11 hours of sleep. I am a Freshman and certainly do not have nearly as much homework as upperclassmen, however I am finding myself staying up late with homework. Then, I have to get up at 5:45 at the latest in order to catch my bus. I am not functioning properly in school because of these hours, any recommendations?
