Three American Studies students competed at the state level of National History Day in Cooperstown New York on April 29th, 2019.  The theme for this competition was “Triumph and Tragedy.”

Students and their projects were (listed in the order that they appear in the attached photo):  Abbie Schroder- A museum exhibit about Child Labor Law featuring Mother Jones and Lewis Hine, Muskan Katoch- A paper titled “The Subversive Insurrectionist: Nat Turner”, and Dominic Emphasis- A documentary on Texas Independence.

They all did a fantastic job and made Shenendehowa proud!  Well done!
