General Duties:  The position provides secretarial support to teachers and certain other staff members.  This individual is responsible for typing documents submitted, such as test, quizzes, and correspondence, for copying and laminating, and for ordering supplies.  Excellent communication skills are required, both in person and on the phone.  This individual acts as receptionist for the workroom, answering phones and forwarding calls to the appropriate teacher or team so that students and parents have open lines of communication with teachers throughout the day.  Additional duties include organizing year-end school exams; opening and sorting mail; taking inventory of supply room and ordering supplies, and providing assistance in the guidance, attendance or main office, as needed.  Other duties as required.

BENEFITS & SALARY:  Professional working environment, supportive parents and community, salary per the Shenendehowa CSEA collective bargaining agreement, STEP 1 ($16.86/hr) – STEP 7 ($22.30/hr)
