POSITION: TYPIST – GROUP C (Associate Principal, Main Office), 8 HRS/DAY, 12 MONS/YR 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The position provides high level secretarial support to High School Administrators, requiring the ability to multi-task in a very busy main office environment; handles routine office details independently, understands and carries-out complex oral and written directions; sets up student appointments with the Associate Principal managing Google and calendars; demonstrates tact and courtesy dealing with staff and students; work collaboratively in a positive way with the current office staff; shows initiative and resourcefulness in solving complex clerical tasks. This position requires excellent people skills, word processing, basic knowledge of spreadsheets, high level of organization and time management skills. Does related work at the request of building administration. Additional duties as required. 

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:   Proficiency in people skills including both verbal and written communication skills; computer skills such as MS Office Suite and Google

BENEFITS & SALARY:  Professional working environment, supportive parents and community, salary per Shenendehowa CSEA collective bargaining agreement, STEP 1 ($18.79/hr) – STEP 7 ($24.44/hr)

LOCATION: High School East, Main Office
