Were staff and students in direct contact with this corona positive individual at Tesago notified, and doesn’t everyone now have to be under precautionary quarantine?

A. Everyone was notified that there was confirmed case by the district. The county health department is the point agency on notification of exposure to specific individuals, not the school district.

As a system, we have to balance the need-to-know with privacy protections. All we can do is notify the community when we have a confirmed case so that they know of possible exposure and to seek medical attention if they become symptomatic. The Health Department will notify individuals who have been identified as close contact with instructions on possible testing or quarantine.
