Why are teachers expecting students to attend zoom calls in the evening? I understand we’re all trying to navigate schedules but my child has absolutely no online classes during the day – only at night. I understand that some teachers have children at home but students shouldn’t be expected to sacrifice time they can spend with their families or staying connected with other outside commitments because of this.

A. Teachers are trying a variety of ways and times to connect with students, recognizing that some students are not available during the “traditional” school day. Please communicate any concerns directly to your child’s teacher, or child can do so.
