Why do kids who already know a language have to learn one. I’m an immigrant English isn’t my first language so why do I have to learn another language entirely

A. While there are many benefits to being multilingual, students who have lived and attended school in an other-than-English-speaking environment may be eligible to receive world language credits without having to study another language.
