Will 3rd graders that do not learn the recorder this year learn the recorder in 4th grade (if music class resume next year)? Will they still be allowed to learn a string instrument in 4th grade?

A. The answer is yes to both questions. Assuming normal music instruction returns, yes the recorder will be taught in 4th grade. Students will have an opportunity at the end of grade 3 to join orchestra for grade 4.
