You mentioned in an earlier post that an F converts numerically to a 0. Why does an F convert to a zero? Why can’t it convert to a 50% or a 64%? TEachers don’t give zeros unless no work has been submitted. Clearly, there is a difference between failure to achieve the learning and a zero sum performance. I’m disappointed and angered that a school which allows for redos/retakes has such an archaic and punishing policy.

A. That was a mistake and has been corrected. I originally thought that the question was asking about a four point scale 1.0-4.0.
