Can we please consider moving one of the two “traffic” controllers to the the stop sign near the entrance at Rt 146? It is such a dangerous intersection and the back up there is ridiculous.

A. When the redesign of the campus roads is done, it should address this problem.  We do not have any control over the light on Rte. 146.

“Residents overwhelmingly pass the school budget” doesn’t seem to hold much weight when roughly 2,000 people voted. Every year the budget goes up by roughly 2-3%, as the baseline grows so does the yearly increase. The budget was 129 million when we moved here, now it’s 174 million with the same number of students.

A. While it is true that the 2,118 voters was very low, the budget passed by 74%.  As for your other information, the budget was never $129 million. The closest to that was $127.9 million in 2006-07, 12 years ago. At that time, enrollment was 9,692. Currently, enrollment is 9,828.

Do you think that you could have a class for the teachers on how to use technology properly? They’re constantly putting on youtube videos and leaving the mouse on the play button, blocking part of the screen, asking students how to upload a video to google drive, and even asking how to get out of fullscreen on a video.
