Families from Orenda and Karigon celebrated the diverse cultural background in our schools with food, table displays, traditional clothes and dancing at our Third Annual Multicultural Potluck Dinner.
The members of Karigon Crush (Ben, Max, Santino & Dante) entertained the 3rd graders during lunch with their rendition of “Seven Nation Army” by the White Stripes. They put so much practice into this performance and it was incredible!

Karigon’s 5th Grade enjoyed a tasty literacy journey at the Karigon Book Tasting event. They made connections while sampling food and reading snippets from their current book, The Phantom Tollbooth.
Mrs. Lagowski’s 1st grade class at Karigon learns about puffins and really “dug” finding a burrow for their birds.

Karigon is one of four K-5 elementary schools located on the main campus. It is connected to Orenda Elementary School sharing a cafeteria/auditorium. It opened in 1968.
