I have stressed enough, cried enough, studied enough. This is ridiculous that at the end of the year we are still learning new units and taking tests on them a week before finals. This week i have had 5 test one of which is apart of the final. I have to worry about doing my homework, learning new things that i have just been taught, studying for finals, working on 2 projects and studying for other tests when my number one priority is to not stress about school and to be a kid. How am i supposed to do that when gowanas 7th grade classes makes me stay up until 2:30 in the morning just to be studying, and doing 3 pages of homework for each subject. Not only that but we still have big projects we are working on. Shouldn’t we be reviewing and studying for finals in class?

It really is too bad that certain questions won’t be answered. I have written twice before and am trying a third time. The first time I wrote was just after the sheriffs office ran a drug sweep. I asked what the outcome was, notably not asking for names but what was found. The district is all about transparency and the appearance of a zero policy on drugs and drug activity, yet they have not issued any formal response to the findings of the sweep. Not sure why the district chooses not to report or why my question(s) have not been answered after waiting for 3 months. I thought that all questions/concerns were answered on here.

A. Your question was answered. The reply was that we would not be releasing information about what was found because that was not the purpose of the search. We do these searches a few times a year and the purpose is to act as a deterrent.

When H.S.teachers have video of their classes it is a big help for review at home or for parents to help, especially with the more complex subjects…Just wondering what others think..and if this is something the district would have teachers do on a more regular basis…
