I attended the Gowana 8th grade moving up ceremony last night and I applaud Principal Gawry’s for trying to keep the parents from yelling and applauding after each childs name was announced. Instead, applaud the homeroom once all were announced. I hope the parents that chose not to listen after repeated attempts enjoyed their moment when their kids name was announced. I missed hearing my kids name because you couldn’t stop cheering and applauding. You taught your kids a great lesson by not listening to the principal. Nice job.
