Acadia 7th grade students in Ms. Bouchard’s FACS classes used their sewing machine skills to make a positive impact in local organizations and nonprofits. 85 Bonding Hearts will be donated to local NICUs, 19 Port Pillows in memory of Acadia’s custodian, Linda Vandenburgh, will be donated to NYOH, and 18 pet beds will be donated to H.O.P.E.

Seven business students attended The Ultimate DECA Power Trip in Austin, TX. The leadership conference reinforces 21st Century Skills while providing students with engaging workshops featuring dynamic professionals, a competitive excellence experience, learning and leadership labs, and college and career exhibits. Karigon held its first Best Buddies event of the 2023-24 school year.
