Ms. Rezny’s 2nd grade class participated in STEAM activities to coincide with Groundhog’s day!
Karigon’s 5th Grade enjoyed a tasty literacy journey at the Karigon Book Tasting event. They made connections while sampling food and reading snippets from their current book, The Phantom Tollbooth.
Mrs. Lagowski’s 1st grade class at Karigon learns about puffins and really “dug” finding a burrow for their birds. They flew through the primary wing looking for the perfect spot.
Math 7H(6) students learn how to convert between fractions, decimals, and percentages.
27 elementary teams participated in our 3rd annual FLL Explore Festival. Schools represented include Arongen (8 teams), Orenda (10 teams), Okte (8 teams), and Troy (1 team). Karigon students in Mrs. Giso’s third grade class are learning about patterns in motion. In the “Play Ball” lesson, students worked to explore how changes in force direction are necessary to move a table tennis ball through a maze.
