9th grader, Bhuvika, took first place at the tenth annual Albany Regional Brain Bee after defeating two opponents in two additional tiebreaker rounds. Bhuvika is headed to the National Competition held in New Jersey next month!

The High School International Field Trip to Peru during April break, taken at Machu Picchu. The students had an incredible experience, engaging enthusiastically with the local culture and putting their Spanish skills to great use in conversations with the people they met.
Keith Collins, Director of Clifton Park Halfmoon EMS, delivered a presentation to the Careers in Patient Care class, taught by Nate Chin. Following the presentation, his team provided students with a tour of the ambulance rig and expose students to the life-saving equipment used in emergency medical services.

High school teacher Molly Stammel and Gowana 6th grader Colin Stammel met with Governor Hochul for a round table discussion about distraction free classrooms. Both had an opportunity to have sit down discussions with lawmakers, and visit the Assembly floor.
