why aren’t students allowed to go on their phones in lunch in the middle school, as 9-12th graders are? i believe everybody should have the privilege until proven they cannot handle it. students are monitored throughout lunch, so if they ever used their phone inappropriately, it would be seen and managed.

I saw a kid wearing a confederate flag shirt for the entire day and didn’t get dress coded. He wore it all day and nothing was done!! How come shen preaches equality and kindness but can let this absurd person wear something so disrespectful and do nothing about it.

Are teachers legally allowed to hold someones phone over a break or a weekend?
A. Anything confiscated from a student should be turned into the main office, with the determination made by the principal. Typically it is by the end of the day, unless the phone or device is evidence in an investigation, at which point the parent should be made aware.
Hello! I’d like to know what is the policy regarding each students individual Shenschools.org Email account. After they graduate, is there access to the email removed? What are the limits of what someone can write in the documents? I am writing a story using docs and its convenient to use my Shen schools gmail with the Chromebooks. Am I also able to get in trouble for having some adult themes (Non-Pornographic) in said story? Thank you!

I’m a middle schooler and i have a chrome book it is hard for me to carry all of my books and the chrome book bucause the case is very big and adds a good amount weight but i was wondering if i could use my own laptop sleeve to carry it around?
