A. The district already has those drills. A letter went out to parents/guardians about the precautions the district takes. This is also posted on the website under breaking news.
A. The potholes in this area are from the heavy school bus traffic. These potholes have been repaired twice with patching solutions during the winter, however proper adhesion is not favorable with the weather and cold temps. Once the asphalt plants reopen in the spring more lasting repairs will be made.
A. The water service for High School West and the entire district town is supplied from the town of Clifton Park. Water fountains provide filtering and many offer bottle filing devices.
A. The district does not maintain a list of daycare centers, and cannot make recommendations or endorsements regarding businesses in the area. Since this list is ever-changing, a google search of “Clifton Park daycare” or similar, will give you a current list to get started.
A. Any selection for the HS musical will be considered providing the rights are available, the content is appropriate for public High School students and audiences, and the show is flexible enough given the student composition within the cast at the given time.
A. The calendar is driven by BOCES, Board policy and contractual agreements. The days off for religious holidays have been based on the size of the population observing the holidays. At some point, with changing demographics and diversity in religions, it may be impractical to recognize any religious holiday.
A. They are closed during Regents week.
