A. Hand dryers are better for the environment and more cost effective.
A. We follow strict instructions from New York State as to what we can serve and how much. It is recommended that students take all 5 components (Grain, Meat/Meat Alternate, Fruit, Vegetable and Milk) to get a complete meal.
A. Diesel-powered school buses are equipped to maintain an interior temp of at least 53 degrees, which our buses ususally do. The extreme temperature made it very difficult for the buses to warm up. We always encourage our students to dress warmly based on weather conditions.
A. Students are provided fully functional loaner devices while broken/missing Chromebooks are addressed. Devices that cannot be repaired or are lost/stolen are replaced with the same model the student was originally assigned in the 1:1.
A. Only staff members can submit a request to remove content filters.
A. The community education program coordinates times in which people can sign up for classes in the pool. Due to the extent that the pool is used for student programs and swim team events/programs, we do not have open swim. A. It’s a safety issue. It helps ensure that visitors are checked in at the front desk and we know where they are going when they arrive.
A. We try not to tow any vehicles as it is inconvenient and costly for the person who has their vehicle towed. With that said, we will tow a vehicle if they continue to violate our rules and park without permission.
