A. Any site or part of a site that is managed by a district employee other than the webmaster are done in Google Sites or another platform.
A. It is anonymous. Most questions are answered. Questions that identify a specific student or staff member will not be answered. When multiple questions come in about the same topic, only one of the questions is answered. Questions with profanity are not answered.
A. Yes, French exchange students visit Shen each year through the Peace Program. Students in grades 9, 11, and 12 can host.
A. Random Acts of Kindness are appreciated and awarded with a Gowana Gold Star. Students who are disrespectful in classes receive a referral and possible disciplinary actions. The events are treated separately.
A. Teachers should not make jokes about a student’s appearance.
A. While 1:1 Chromebooks are being repaired we provide loaner devices. The loaners are fully functional devices, just not the same model. After 1:1 Chromebooks are repaired they are returned to the student.

Attending a community meeting and completing 10 hours of volunteer service is a requirement of the Shenendehowa National Issues Forum course which meets the New York State graduation requirement for Participation in Government.
