In March, Okte participated in the “Read for Ronald McDonald House” (RMCH) fundraiser. Students were challenged to raise $10,000 — and they exceeded that goal by collecting an impressive $10,763!

Many also sported college and university gear, highlighting the importance of higher education in achieving their dreams.

Okte students learned that curiosity can take them anywhere from best-selling author Kate Messner. Mrs. Messner inspired kindergarten and first-grade students to giggle as she read The Scariest Kitten in the World.
