Karigon’s new mascot made their appearance at yesterday’s Fun Run presentation!  It will be a part of our school for many years to come and we’re so happy to have a furry face to represent our Karigon motto “Together we can do it!”  Pictured here with Principal Malik Jones and Principal’s Aide Diane Stein.

Through a grant Mr. Week’s 3rd grade class at Orenda has been working with DEC and a program called “Trout Unlimited” to promote stream restoration in our community. They raise brook trout from the egg stage, and then release them in the spring at a permitted location.

2023 Friendship Walk benefitting Best Buddies local programs supports Best Buddies’ mission of creating friendship and inclusive communities for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Best Buddies has a commitment to nurturing lasting friendships and ensuring that individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) are fully embraced by their peers.

Congratulations to Shen graphic design student, Katelyn Witz, whose billboard design was chosen as the winner in the anti impaired driving initiative.

For the 22nd year, 62 Shenendehowa graphic design students attended a billboard unveiling in partnership with LAMAR Advertising to reveal the winner of the anti-impaired driving campaign.
