Koda Gr. 8 students in Daniel Eckard’s science class rotate through six stations to tackle the Next-Generation Science Standard “PS1 – Matter and its Interactions.” Students view and manipulate the processes of conduction, convection, and radiation to predict and analyze how particle motion changes when thermal energy is added or removed.

Middle School German classes celebrate Oktoberfest.  This is an annual event for which the students form project groups to create a wide variety of posters, decorations, and activities for the festival.  They also coordinate the sharing of German or other cultural foods, many of which are made by the students at home.
