Orenda students had a blast participating in the First in Math competition at UAlbany
The state Department of Education teamed up with the company Suntex International and its First in Math program to launch New York’s first Statewide Mathematics Championship.
Through a grant Mr. Week’s 3rd grade class at Orenda has been working with DEC and a program called “Trout Unlimited” to promote stream restoration in our community. They raise brook trout from the egg stage, and then release them in the spring at a permitted location.
