Im going to be an 8th grader in Gowana this upcoming school year and I was wondering if I could skateboard to school and back on paths only and put it in my locker during shool hours. I would not ride it in the school and I would also get their before buses arrive.
A. The administration would recommend using the bus transportation provided by the district.
Has Shen ever considered acknowledging the top 20 or top 30 instead of only the valedictorian and the salutatorian?
A. We have for years. All students receiving a medal for a GPA of 95 or higher are asked to stand at graduation when their name is called.
What’s the difference between principle of chemistry and ps/regents chemistry

Where would I find a HSE building floor plan?
A. We have been told by law enforcement to not to publish our building maps online. Students can pick them up in the main office.
How and when do children who are interested in the BOCES programs such as culinary or cosmetology get information about this? Also, if my nine grader was put in studio arts fine arts will they be able to get into multi media arts classes in the future during high school or will they be limited to the craft or fine arts?
A. Student learn about BOCES programs during the scheduling process. As far as course progressions, your child need to discuss with his/her counselor.
Can a student change their team assignments? I.e. 7-1 to 7-2?
A. That requires a discussion with your counselor.
Does Shen have a glee club?
A. No.
