I don’t want to say any particular names as I don’t want to offend anyone, but my child told me that their instructor was teaching false historical occurrences, specifically that there was actually an atomic bomb dropped to end WWI. Whether it was a joke or not, my child thought that it had been taught as fact, and I don’t understand why teachers are allowed to get away with mocking the innocence of children, seeing what they can get away with getting students to believe.

I hate drinking from the water fountains. I use them in emergencies, like after gym, and I don’t bring in bottles as some teachers don’t allow them. Why don’t the custodians wash the fountains as much as they should? That is a state health violation as the mold can contaminate the water. Can something be done to encourage more frequent washing of the water fountains?

Written by on May 16, 2016

A.  Water fountains are check and wiped down once per day. They are also thoroughly cleaned each day after school, so that the fixture can be sanitized with a product that kills germs and bacteria.
